Return and Refund Policy - Kartha NFC Smartcard

This policy exclusively applies to the purchase of the Kartha NFC Smartcard through www.karthanfc.mitiendanube.com. By placing an order, the customer accepts the following terms:

1. Return and Refund Conditions for the Physical Product

Design Acceptance (Preview)

  • The physical production process of the Smartcard (printing or laser engraving) begins **ONLY after the customer has explicitly approved the digital preview** (visual mock-up) of the final design or information to be engraved.
  • Once the preview is accepted, no cancellations or refunds for the physical product will be accepted under any circumstances, except in case of manufacturing defects.

Production Status

  • A refund for the **cost of the physical product** (excluding the cost of digital generation, see section 2) can be requested **ONLY IF THE SMARTCARD HAS NOT BEEN PRINTED OR LASER ENGRAVED**.
  • If the card has entered the physical production phase, the sale is final, and there is no right to a refund.

2. Digital Generation Refund (Account Setup)

The refund or cancellation applicable to the **Digital Generation** (cost associated with the creation, setup, and activation of the Smartcard's account and digital profile) is subject to the following condition:

  • The customer has a maximum period of **FIVE (5) HOURS** from the account and digital profile creation time to request the cancellation and refund of the Digital Generation cost.
  • After 5 hours, the Digital Generation service is considered rendered, and the corresponding amount **will not be refundable**.

3. Refund Exclusions

The following elements **are not refundable** under any circumstances:

  • Shipping Cost: Shipping and handling charges.
  • Personalized Products (once in production): Any Smartcard that has been printed or engraved (once the *preview* is approved).

4. Manufacturing Defects or Shipping Errors

If the Smartcard presents a **manufacturing defect** or if the customer receives an **incorrect product** (different from the one approved in the preview), Kartha commits to:

  • Replacing the card at no additional cost, or;
  • Offering a full refund for the product and shipping costs.

The customer must notify the defect or error within a maximum period of [Specify the term here, e.g., 7 days] after receiving the product.

5. Procedure to Request a Return/Cancellation

  2. If the request is for physical product cancellation, the production status will be verified to confirm that printing or engraving has not started.
  3. If the request is for Digital Generation cancellation, the account creation time will be verified to ensure it is within the 5-hour window.
